I don't just love the cherry blossoms because they are beautiful, I love them because they provide a sense of connection and celebration in the DC community. They are a sign that spring is here, a time for renewal, and they serve as a rite of passage for every Washingtonian. They are a catalyst for major business & revenue in our city and they are a great reminder of non partisan diplomacy.
