In the summer of 2008, I came across an amazing big brass band in Adams Morgan called the Lively Stones. I originally created these pieces in 2008 + 2009 from pictures I had taken of them playing on the streets ofthe neighborhood. The energy and joy they exuded was contagious and I hope these piecesreflect just that.

Oversized canvas prints are open series prints that start at 22” x 30”. They are produced from an original painting to achieve high resolution reproductions using vibrant archival inks on archival fade-resistant canvas. Prints are stretched, gallery wrapped and hardware is provided.
Fade-resistant.
20.5 mil thick poly-cotton blend canvas.
Hand-stretched over solid wood stretcher bars.
Matte finish coating.
A hand embellished canvas print is a reproduction on which an added layer of paint is applied to the canvas. Paint is adhered with a palette knife to specific areas to enhance color, brush stroke & texture, making a giclee print look even more like an original.
