I made this flag in 2013 inspired by Alice Roosevelt and after realizing what it was to be in the presence of trailblazing, brilliant, inspiring, badass women.
It can change your life and move the world in epic ways.
I have faced and navigated sexism, as most women have, especially as a business owner. I feel a responsibility to make art that CELEBRATES the strength and courage of the women who came before me and the young women who will come after.

Oversized canvas prints are open series prints that start at 22” x 30”. They are produced from an original painting to achieve high resolution reproductions using vibrant archival inks on archival fade-resistant canvas. Prints are stretched, gallery wrapped and hardware is provided.
Fade-resistant.
20.5 mil thick poly-cotton blend canvas.
Hand-stretched over solid wood stretcher bars.
Matte finish coating.
A hand embellished canvas print is a reproduction on which an added layer of paint is applied to the canvas. Paint is adhered with a palette knife to specific areas to enhance color, brush stroke & texture, making a giclee print look even more like an original.

Upon purchase you will be contacted to review your delivery options. We offer shipping across the country and delivery to the local DMV area. You can also opt to pick up your purchase in the studio. Due to the difference in screen displays (and the fact that everyone sees color differently), colors may vary slightly. If you have any concerns please contact us and we’ll be happy to send you more photos of the print or original.
