Together Mural

Together Mural

In September 2021, I was honored to be part of a collaboration with fellow DC female artists,  Lisa Marie Thalhammer and  Nia Keturah Calhoun to create "Together," a mural inspired by our collaborative work during the 2017 Women's March. We created a perfect collage of our respective styles and are excited for this mural to remind everyone that we are not just blue & red, we are a democracy of color that will continue to march for equal rights and justice for ALL.

This mural was inspired by the Women's March on Washington and seeks to demonstrate unity among people. The mural depicts the Capitol building as a symbol of democracy, equity, and unity. The figures exemplify the strength of our predecessors and are reminiscent of prior movements in the fight for equality.
